THE EVALUATIONS OF JAMES SUCKLING ON THE RIZZI WINES

Who does not know James Suckling in the wine world?

We are talking about one of the most prestigious oenological critics in the international field whose wine evaluations are expected by all the professionals of the sector and consulted by all wine lovers.

The authoritativeness of James Suckling and his evaluations are valued both for his vast experience and for the vast knowledge of the sector, and for the role he has played as founder of the European editor of Wine Spectator.

The experience in a magazine as important as Wine Spectator has guaranteed to James to acquire and then refine all the rigid and precise tasting techniques required to the editors of that guide, but have also approached wine producers, winemakers and consumers of high level that have further expanded their capabilities.

James Suckling, together with his collaborators, to better evaluate the wines, always goes directly to the winery of the producer, so as to analyze every detail related to the territory, the environment, the vineyards, ...

The real attention of the tasting does not focus significantly on the olfactory analysis of the product, as for many other tasters, but on the taste that leaves the wine in the mouth and, consequently, on its concentration of fruits, the level of tannins, alcohol and acids.

The soul of the wine is its persistence in the mouth, that is the result of the balanced harmony of all its qualities. The main difference with all the other critics and even the Wine Spectator itself is the place of tasting.

James Suckling and his collaborators, in fact, go directly to the producer's cellar to analyze all the details related to the environment and the territory that are manifested in the notes of the individual wines.

JAMES SUCKLING EVERY YEAR ESTABLISHES A CLASSIFICATION OF THE BEST LABELS PRESENT IN COMMERCE

In this year, some wines from Cantina Rizzi di Treiso, in Piedmont, have been evaluated by James Suckling.
